Hello BIT/DIT Group A/B,

First of all I want to congratulate all of your for being able to go through our Course in Discrete Structures. For some of you it was challenging, for others it was revealing but for other I know they would want to "throw in the towel". But what ever category you may be in, first of all remember the following:

1. God Almighty created us all differently with different abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Education places us all in a classroom and assigns grades to us that seem to suggest that we all must have the same abilities and overcome challenges the same way.

2. So I suggest don't compare yourself with anybody, you are your own competitor, yes some may get things taught faster, others slow, others too not at all, but none of these suggest that any of us are "less human" than others. 

3. Do believe in your God given ability that God had given everyone of you. If you don't understand ask for help (not in the exam room) but now. Do your best and leave the rest to God.

4. Remember no man can determine your destiny not even us your lecturers. 

I pray that none of you will sell either your "bodies" or your "conscience" to anyone because he/she wants to succeed academically.

I pray the Lord grant you the wisdom, patience to go through my course or any other course that you may face here in GTUC.
